Nagpur, Oct 7 : Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan would inaugurate a Haj House here tomorrow in the presence of Union Minister for Minorities and Law and Judiciary, Salman Khurshid.
The Haj House, built at the cost of Rs 15.5. crore, has come up on a sprawling 19,000 sq ft area in Ganjipeth in the central part of the city and has separate prayer rooms for men and women.
It has 40 rooms with 10-person capacity, said Maharashtra Minister for Minority Development, Mohammad Arif Naseem Khan, here today.
The first Haj flight will take off from the city on October 17.
State Haj Committee will manage the Haj House.
