Bangalore, Apr 2: A new Kannada Daily “Vijayavani” hit the stands across Karnataka on yesterday.
The daily owned and published by VRL Media Ltd, launched three editions– Bangalore, Hubli and Mangalore.
Pejawar Mutt pontiff Sri Vishvesha Thirtha Swamiji and Suttur Mutt seer Sri Shivaratri Desikendra Swamiji launched the inaugural edition here at a function and wished the publication a success.
Dignitaries from all walks of life including former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa greeted the paper.
VRL Media Chairman Vijay Sankeshwar and Managing Director Anand Sankeshwar welcomed the dignitaries.
